Marcus Lewis is the Head Football coach at Varina High School, in Richmond, Virginia where he was born and raised.
In 2008, Coach Lewis started coaching high school football at Varina as the linebackers coach. Coach Lewis coached both Maurice Canady (Dallas Cowboys) and Tim Harris (San Francisco 49ers) who are currently playing in the NFL. In 2014, Coach Lewis became the defense of coordinator and in 2019 was named the Head Coach at Varina High School. In Lewis’ first full season, the blue devils made school history under Coach Lewis by winning the first state championship in class 4a. That year Coach Lewis was named “coach of the year” in the state of Virginia (class 4a). Coach Marcus Lewis is excited for Nike Football Camp to come to Varina High School in Richmond, Virginia!
