Marissa Morah

Marissa Morah is the Head Volleyball Coach at Rancho Solano Preparatory School.

Coach Morah completed her second year as the head varsity volleyball coach and her thurd year in the Rancho Solano Prep program. In her first two years she has helped lead the program to the first playoff victory in school history in 2019 followed by a #3 state ranking and an 18-2 record in 2020 in her first year as head coach.

As a player, she played for Northwest Christian School, making it to the state semi-finals twice, and led her team in kills in 2010, taking home the state championship. From there she went on to play in college at Trinity International University, where she was a two-year captain, kill and defensive leader, and conference player of the week.

Her passion for coaching started early, at just 15 years old where she helped assist Arizona Sky's 12's teams before her own club practice to help pay for her club's expenses. Into college, this passion grew as she head coached Elite 15's teams at Illinois Juniors Volleyball Club throughout her entire college volleyball career, where many of her players went on to get great scholarships. More recently, Coach Morah has been involved at Ignite Volleyball Club, coaching the Elite 15's team, and assisting with their 14 premiere teams.

Coach Morah believes that a group of women with a common goal and a sense of purpose can't be stopped, but the character is something more important than any title. My goal is to help assist in developing successful athletes and go further in the state tournament than we did last year, while more importantly, creating fantastic leaders at Rancho Solano, who are well-rounded individuals on the court, in the classroom, and in their communities
