Marquis Walker brings nearly two decades of coaching experience across the collegiate, high school, and club levels, developing players and leading programs to success. Now entering his seventh season as Head Women's Soccer Coach at Thomas More University, he has guided the Saints through multiple conference tournaments, producing numerous All-Conference and Academic honorees while helping the program transition to NCAA Division II and the G-MAC.
Before Thomas More, Walker was an assistant coach at NCAA Division I Canisius College, where he helped the team reach the conference tournament for the first time in four years. He also led the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford women’s team to a conference semifinal appearance and transformed Malone University’s men’s program, producing six professional players who went on to compete in the MLS, European Champions League, and international competition. His success extends to the high school level, where he led Hudson High School’s varsity girls’ team to a 15-2-2 record and a No. 7 state ranking.
Walker holds multiple elite coaching certifications, including a Premier Diploma, Advanced National Diploma, and National Goalkeeping Diploma from United Soccer Coaches, along with a USSF National License. A former standout collegiate player at Malone University, he was a two-time All-Conference selection, team MVP, and four-year starter.
Passionate about player development and fostering a competitive yet supportive environment, Walker is dedicated to helping young athletes refine their skills, grow their confidence, and take their game to the next level.
