Marrita Crockett-Moulton is the Women’s Beach Volleyball Assistant Coach at Florida International University.

FIU Beach Volleyball head coach Rita Buck-Crockett announced the hiring and return of assistant coach Marrita Crockett-Moulton.

Crockett- Moulton will be joining her mother's coaching staff and returning to FIU after she spent four years as the beach volleyball assistant coach (2012-16) and one season as the indoor assistant volleyball coach (2018).

In 2016, Crockett-Moulton was honored with an AVCA 30 Under 30 Coaches award, which was given to recognize her efforts with FIU beach volleyball.

"I am so happy to welcome back such an amazing coach, role model, and positive person to our program said Head Coach Rita Buck-Crockett." The last time she was here with Beach, we had our most winning season and reached the AVCA Final Four. These accomplishments are not luck, but hard work and great teamwork. I am really looking forward to working with Marrita again and bringing home some championships!"

During the 2018 season, Crockett-Moulton helped lead the Panthers to the Conference USA conference finals where the team finished as the runner-up in the championship. After a successful run at FIU, Crockett-Moulton joined Florida Memorial University in June 2019 and led the Lions to the 2019 Sun Conference Championship in her first year at the helm.

After the COVID-19 pandemic wiped out the 2020 beach and indoor volleyball season, Crockett-Moulton's team captured the Sun Conference's inaugural conference championship in spring of 2021. Florida Memorial became the first and only historically Black college or university (HBCU) with not only a beach volleyball program but also the first and only one to win a conference championship in beach volleyball.

In 2020, Crockett-Moulton was recognized as a member of the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference's (MEAC) Volleyball All-Time Team. An Award honoring the 50 most outstanding student-athletes throughout the conference's history.

Crockett-Moulton began her collegiate volleyball career with Florida State (2005-06) where she started as an outside hitter her freshman season in 13 of 17 matches for the Seminoles.

Following her stint with FSU, she arrived at Florida A&M (2006-07) and helped fuel her squad to claim a MEAC Championship along with an NCAA Tournament appearance. While with the Rattlers, Crockett-Moulton served as team captain and was named FAMU Student-Athlete of the Year.

She was ranked 21st in the nation in kills per set with Florida A&M and went on to earn the MEAC Outstanding Performer honor, MEAC All-Conference, and FAMU Player of the Year.

Crockett-Moulton graduated from Florida A&M in 2010 with a bachelor's degree in journalism and also has a Master's degree in recreation and sports management from FIU. After completing a collegiate career at Florida State and Florida A&M, Crockett-Moulton enjoyed a professional volleyball career in Switzerland.

As a standout outside hitter for VBC Cheseaux (2008-09), Crockett-Moulton earned a spot on the Swiss All-Star Team while her team ended the season ranked sixth in the country.
