Matt Jones
Director of Operations
Matt Jones joined the Seattle U men's basketball staff as the Redhawk's Director of Operations in November 2020. The 2020-21 season marks Jones' third overall with Seattle U as he spent the previous two seasons as a graduate assistant manager.
As a graduate assistant, Jones assisted with a variety of aspects of the program including gameday operations and travel management, business and finance, player skill development, video coordination and summer camps.
Jones earned his undergraduate degree in Finance from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas in May 2018 following four years as a member of the Tigers' men's basketball team. A co-captain of the squad, Jones served on the Trinity Student Athlete Advisory Committee, was a three-time All-Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Third Team selection, made the NABC Honors Court (2016-17), set the school single season and all-time records for assists and finished third all-time in steals.
Jones completed his master's degree in Sports Business Leadership at Seattle U in June 2020.
