Matt Stasiw
Graduate Assistant Track & Field Coach (Jumps, Sprints, & Hurdles)/Graduate Student Mental Performance Coach

Matt Stasiw joined Ithaca College Track & Field this past September 2024 and works directly with the men's & women's jumps, sprints, & hurdles as the Graduate Assistant Coach. Coach Stasiw additionally serves as a Mental Performance Coach for Ithaca's Graduate Exercise & Health Sciences Program where he is earning his Master's Degree in Mental Performance. Since joining Ithaca, Coach Stasiw has been a part of one Women's Indoor Track & Field Liberty League Conference Championship and has seen multiple athletes go to the DIII Indoor & Outdoor National Championship meets along the way.
Coach Stasiw comes to Ithaca College after attending St. John Fisher University as both a Volunteer Assistant Coach for Jumps, and formerly a competing long jumper for 4 years. Coach Stasiw, during his time at St. John Fisher was a two-time Indoor Empire 8 Long Jump Champion, two-time First Team All-Conference, an Academic All-American, Sportsman of the Year, and a member of the All AARTFC Region Team for long Jump. His personal best of 7.09m is 4th all time at St. John Fisher University.
Coach Stasiw additionally holds his Level 1 Track and Field Coach Certification (USA Track & Field) and is pursuing both his Certified Mental Performance Coach certification (CMPC) and Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist certification (CSCS) through his Master's Degree here at Ithaca College.
