Max Switzer
Camp Coach

Max Switzer was named the first women's flag football coach in
Hesston College history in 2023. In two seasons as head coach, Switzer has
led the Larks to back-to-back national runner-up finishes and accumulated a
20-11 overall record.
A native of Troup, Texas, Switzer earned his bachelor’s degree from Tabor (Kan.) College. After obtaining his degree he spent time as a position coach at Tabor for two years.
Switzer would go on to spend six years coaching at Newton HS in Newton, Kan. Five of those years were spent coaching middle school track and freshman girl’s basketball and for four years he spent as a defensive coordinator and position coach for the football team. Max also spent some time as the head coach of the Wichita Tribe, a professional women’s No tackle football team.
