As a soccer coach, Max has been coaching with the Portland Timbers youth camps for over 8 years, awarded camp coach of the year in 2015, coached a multitude of boys’ & girls’ teams of all ages with one of the Timber Alliance clubs, and was also awarded club coach of the year in 2013. Max currently holds his National B License and is in pursuit of his USSF National A Youth Pro License. He grew in the suburbs of Chicago playing soccer, traveled around the world to train with some of the best coaches in Romania, Sweden, and Brazil. During his college years, he played with Colorado Mountain College and earned All-Regional Player of the year both years attended. Then played with University of Portland Club team where he started his career in coaching. He currently holds his Positive Coaching Alliance Certification, Concussion Awareness Certification, Cardiac Arrest Certification, and is First Aid/CPR Certified.
