Sarah Chobot

Sarah Chobot is a former USA women's national team player and current member of the Glendale Merlins.
Chobot played basketball and softball and ran track at Mendon High School before accepting a heptathlon scholarship at Central Michigan. She moved on to rugby in 2001 and was a three-time All-American for the Chippewas. Chobot first represented her country with the U23 national team for a year before going on four tours with the Women’s National Team Sevens. Chobot played for Minnesota Valkyries, North Shore, and NOVA, and currently plays for Glendale Merlins while holding a job at GNC. She scored two tries against Canada at IRB Nations Cup 2013 and the match-winning try in USA’s first of three matches against France in California in the summer of 2013.
