Makayla Kintner is the assistant women's lacrosse coach at Saint Vincent College.
Makayla Kintner joined the Saint Vincent College coaching staff in August 2024 after a highly decorated five-year playing career at Seton Hill University.
A defender, Kintner was a four-time IWLCA All-America selection, four-time All-Atlantic Region honoree, four-time first team All-Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) selection and two-time Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Defensive Player of the Year.
In 2024, she also became the first women’s lacrosse player in Seton Hill program history to be named Academic All-America by the College Sports Communicators.
Kintner started all 80 games over her career with the Griffins and totaled 164 ground balls, 137 caused turnovers, and 269 draw controls, while scoring four goals with two assists.
Seton Hill posted a combined 58-22 overall record and 44-3 PSAC mark over Kintner’s career, reaching the NCAA Division II National Tournament in each of the past four years. The Griffins twice went undefeated in PSAC regular season play, turning in a 12-0 mark in 2023 and a 10-0 conference record in 2021.
A native of Vestal, New York, Kintner graduated from Seton Hill with honors with a bachelor’s degree in exercise science in 2023, before earning an MBA in leadership and management from her alma mater in 2024.
