Mike Hernholm

Coach Mike Hernholm brings over 20+ years of combined professional playing and coaching experience to the Nike Soccer Camps.
Throughout the years, Mike has coached boys and girls, men and women, of all ages from U4 to College. He currently is an Assistant Coach at Treasure Valley Community College with the Men’s and Women’s Soccer teams. His playing career started in one of the top clubs in Southern California and spanned to playing College for Fort Lewis College and Cal State Dominguez Hills. Mike also played several seasons professionally in Norway.
Prior to coaching with TVCC Mike coached with Western Colorado University, and Fort Lewis College. He has also coached at Real SC where he worked with the youth academy, trained goalkeepers, and coached an 05 and 06 girls teams. His recent club experience was at Albion SC where he coached a traveling 06 girls team leading them to victory at the Canyon Rim Tournament in Twin Falls, Idaho.
Coach Hernholm holds licenses with the USSF C, D, E, and F Licenses, United Soccer Coaches Goalkeeper License, Chievo Verna, Italy Coaching Education Program. Hernholm holds a B.S. in Exercise Physiology and an M.S. in Sports Management. Mike currently resides in Idaho with his wife and son, where he enjoys being able to give back what he has learned on his career path.
