Monique Liddell
Athletic Director - Maret School
Monique Liddell is in her third year as Athletic Director and Chair of the Physical Education Department at Maret School in Washington, DC.
In her first twelve
years at Maret, she served as the head girls basketball coach. In her last
season with the Frogs, she led them to a 2nd place finish in the ISL AA
division, and her team competed through the semifinals of the DCSAA State
Tournament. Throughout her time with the program, she has notched multiple top three finishes in ISL AA conference play and secured the 2019 DCSAA Girls
Basketball Coach of the Year award. Coach Liddell has played the game at every
level and enjoys working with girls who are passionate about sports.
A native of Sacramento, CA, Coach Liddell received multiple honors during her
playing career, including All-MEAC selections (1996-2000), Morgan State
Female Athlete of the Year (2000), and a Morgan State University Hall of Fame
Induction in 2015.
