Morgan, the Assistant Director of Ignited at Nets on Fire since 2023, brings three years of expertise in both group and individual training. She has successfully recruited girls for AAU teams from 10U to 17U by attending high school games and border league tournaments. Morgan created the Girls Ignited Program, coordinating with parents and addressing their questions and concerns, and managed the Ignited girls tryouts. Additionally, she hired all the coaches for the Girls Ignited teams.
Morgan holds an Associate's Degree in Exercise Science from Dixie State University and a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology Counseling from Colorado Mesa University. She is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy.
Her college basketball career includes two years at Dixie State University, where she played in the PacWest Conference on a full-ride scholarship, and two years at Colorado Mesa University in the RMAC Conference, also on a full-ride scholarship. During her time at Colorado Mesa, Morgan contributed to winning the RMAC Championship in 2020 and achieving fourth place in 2021. She was named RMAC Defensive Player of the Week during her sophomore year with a notable near triple-double performance. Her average stats across all four years included 7 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 steals per game, playing positions 2, 3, and 4. Under Coach Taylor Wagner, her team achieved a win-loss record of 208-54, and Morgan was recognized as Coach of the Year for 2020-2021.
Having grown up in Southern Utah, Morgan has strong relationships and networking abilities with parents, players, and coaches in the area. She maintains regular communication with college coaches and, as a former three-sport athlete (soccer, basketball, and track), understands the importance of accommodating players' extracurricular activities.
