Steph Hartness - Coach

Originally from Niceville, Florida, Harness attended Niceville High School, where she was a 5A State Champion, 5A and 6A State Player of the Year, and two time First Team All American.

After her high school career, Harness attended Florida State University. During her time at FSU, Hartness hit a career .384 and helped her team earn a ACC title, along with a Women's College World Series appearance. After her Sophomore year, Hartness transferred to the University of North Georgia, accomplishing numerous accolades. During Hartness' junior and senior season, UNG won back to back Peach Belt Conference Championships. Along with this, Hartness was named PBC Player of the Year, two-time Southeast Region Player of the Year,

top finalist for National Player of the Year, and two time First Team All American. After her senior season at UNG, Hartness continued her softball career playing professionally for Outkast, an organization from the American Softball Association. Professionally, Hartness was an ASBA Champion, hit a career .364, and was awarded First Team All- ASBA as an outfielder. After her fastpitch career, Hartness began playing slowpitch and is now on the USA slowpitch team. Currently, Harness has focused her attention on coaching, attending multiple conferences and clinics, continuing to expand her knowledge and experience of the game.
