at Nike Softball Camps

Don’t miss your chance to make new friendships and receive elite-level training at East Lake High School in Tarpon Springs, FL. Young athletes will have a great opportunity to improve in all components of the game with Director Kristie Delk and their coaching staff. They will ensure a positive and encouraging atmosphere each day as campers have a great time competing with each other. Each day, campers will develop their softball hitting, fielding, base running, and team play to help them compete at the highest level with their schools and club teams.

Camp Coaches

  • Krisite Delk

    Kristie Delk

    Director

    Head Coach Kristie Delk has been leading the East Lake program since 2013. Prior to East Lake, Delk was the Head Coach at Eckerd College in St. Petersburg. While at Eckerd, Delk led the Tritons to the most wins in a single season in almost 10 years. Coach Delk played college softball at Olivet Nazarene University in Bourbonnais, Illinois.

    Kayla Christensen

    Coach

    Named 1st Team PCAC shortstop, Kayla will play college softball for Georgia Southern University. She was named the 2023 6A District 14 Player of the Year and was named to the 2024 FACA Senior All-Star. Christensen played travel ball for the Tampa Mustangs.

    Coach

    Originally from Niceville, Florida, Harness attended Niceville High School, where she was a 5A State Champion, 5A and 6A State Player of the Year, and two time First Team All American.

    Coach

    After her high school career, Harness attended Florida State University. During her time at FSU, Hartness hit a career .384 and helped her team earn a ACC title, along with a Women's College World Series appearance. After her Sophomore year, Hartness transferred to the University of North Georgia, accomplishing numerous accolades. During Hartness' junior and senior season, UNG won back to back Peach Belt Conference Championships. Along with this, Hartness was named PBC Player of the Year, two-time Southeast Region Player of the Year,

    top finalist for National Player of the Year, and two time First Team All American. After her senior season at UNG, Hartness continued her softball career playing professionally for Outkast, an organization from the American Softball Association. Professionally, Hartness was an ASBA Champion, hit a career .364, and was awarded First Team All- ASBA as an outfielder. After her fastpitch career, Hartness began playing slowpitch and is now on the USA slowpitch team. Currently, Harness has focused her attention on coaching, attending multiple conferences and clinics, continuing to expand her knowledge and experience of the game.

Camp Details

Instruction will focus primarily on hitting, fielding, base-running, and game situations. You can expect high demand for these first come first serve camper spots, so please be sure to register early.

CAMP INFORMATION

  • Dates: July 6-9, 2026
  • Age Group: 6-14
  • Camp Type: Half Day Camp (Ages 6-8) & Day Camp (Ages 8-14)
  • Half-Day Camp Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 9:00am-12:00pm
  • Day Camp Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 9:00am-3:00pm
  • Check-In: Begins 30 minutes prior to the camp start time.
  • Meals: Lunch is not provided. Please bring a snack/lunch to camp each day.

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE FEE?

  • Daily Softball Instruction
  • Supervision: Campers are supervised by staff during camp hours
  • Nike Softball Camp T-Shirt and other items

INSTRUCTION & FACILITY

  • Ratio: 1:10 staff to camper ratio

  • Groupings: Campers are grouped by ability, age, and experience, per the Director's discretion.

  • Facility: Outdoor Fields.

Below is a suggested list of clothes, equipment, and personal items. Please note that US Sports Camps does NOT provide equipment and is NOT responsible for lost or stolen articles or money.

  • Small gym bag/backpack

  • Athletic clothing: t-shirt, shorts, softball pants (recommended)

  • Warm-up jacket

  • Hat

  • Cleats & sneakers

  • Softball glove

  • Softball bat

  • Helmet

  • Catchers gear (if applicable)

  • Sunscreen

  • Water bottle

  • Packed lunch and snacks

MEDICAL PROTOCOL

Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.

TRAVEL

Nike Softball Camps does not provide transportation from airports, train stations or bus depots. If you have a child flying to camp, please arrange a shuttle or taxi service.

TEAM/GROUP DISCOUNT

If you have a team or group of 5 or more campers registering for the same camp, each camper may be eligible for a discount. To receive the group discount, please have someone email US Sports Camps at [email protected] with the following information: Camp name, list of camper names, and the number of campers. We will respond with a unique discount code for everyone in the group to use during online registration. *Note: Discount amounts vary by program, so please reach out for more details.
