Nathan Troutman
Camp Director
Nathan Troutman serves as the Camp Director for Brea Creek Golf Course. He is the Head Professional at Break Creek.
Nathan graduated Valedictorian from the Professional Golfer’s Career College in 2010 and then became the Assistant Professional at Redhawk Golf Club in Temecula, CA. He entered the PGA Apprentice Program in that same year and passed his Playing Ability Test on his first attempt. Under the mentorship of former PGA Inland Empire Teacher of the Year Steve Adamiak, Nathan taught golf to players of all ages and abilities for 4 years before leaving to raise a family in Brea with his new wife. Nathan returned to the golf industry in 2019, becoming the Operations Manager and Head Professional at Brea Creek.
Nathan’s teaching philosophy is simple: teach not what the golf swing is supposed to look like, but instead how it should feel! Each golfer has a unique body type, skill level, and athletic background, and Nathan finds it most rewarding to tailor personal epiphanies to each of his students!
