Neil Baroody
Head Track & Field Coach, Naval Academy Preparatory School
Currently serving as the Head Track and Field Coach at the Naval Academy Preparatory School, in Newport, Rhode Island, Neil Baroody has amassed over a decade of collegiate track and field coaching experience.
Starting as a Volunteer Assistant at the University of Oklahoma, Neil spent 2014-2016 assisting with the Vertical Jumps and Multis, which was highlighted by 1 NCAA All-American and 3 school records. From 2016-2018, Baroody coached the Vertical Jumps and Multis at Northeastern University and was directly involved with 3 CAA Conference team championships, 2 NCAA East Regional Qualifiers, 4 conference champions, and 4 school records. Following Northeastern University, Baroody coached the Vertical Jumps and Multis at Army - West Point, from 2018-2023. During that time period, he contributed to one Patriot League Conference team championship, while also coaching 2 NCAA East Regional Qualifiers, 5 conference champions, and 3 school record holders. In addition to his experience as a coach, Baroody holds USTFCCCA certifications in the sprints/hurdles/relays, the jumps, and strength and conditioning.
