Nicole Ackatz

Nicole Ackatz is the head men's and women's coach at Durango High School in Las Vegas.
Nicole Ackatz grew up in Elkhorn, Wisconsin where she was a three sport athlete competing in volleyball, basketball and softball. Nicole moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota to attend Bethel University. She majored in Secondary Life Science Education and now teaches Biology. While at Bethel, she was a member of the volleyball team from 2010-2013 where she was an outside hitter and attended the NCAA tournament in 2011. Ackatz went on to become an assistant coach at Bethel University for 6 seasons. Additionally she has 7 years of experience as a club head coach, working with athletes ranging in age from 12-18. She is starting her second season as head men's and women's coach at Durango High School in Las Vegas. She is excited to welcome you to the Blazerdome!
