Nicole Price University Of Oregon Womens Lacrosse

Nicole Price is in her first year as the women's lacrosse assistant coach at the University of Oregon.

Price arrives at Oregon after two seasons as an assistant coach at Dartmouth. Last season, Price helped Dartmouth qualify for its first Ivy League tournament since 2013 and break into the nation's top 20 with an 11-5 record.

Price helped guide junior Kathryn Giroux to the Ivy League record for draw controls (133) in a season, as well as the top three single-game totals for draw controls in 2018 for All-American honorable mention recognition. She also coached sophomore Kiera Vrindten, who was the Ivy League Goalkeeper of the Year. Under Price, Dartmouth also earned two first team All-Region, three first-team all-Ivy, one second-team all-Ivy, and one honorable mention all-Ivy honors.

Before Dartmouth, Price served as an assistant coach at Fresno State during the 2015 and 2016 seasons. Price helped lead the Bulldogs to the most successful and winning season in program history, as well as team season records for wins, points, goals, assists, shots, shots on goals, groundballs and draw controls. She also helped midfielder Caroline Dineen-Carslon break the program's record for goals (30) in a single season, and Sophia Aragon was named the MPSF Defender of the Year under Price's leadership.

Price also served as an assistant coach at San Diego State during the 2014 season, helping the Aztecs to their first postseason berth in program history with a 7-10 record. With Price's help, three players earned All-MPSF honors and five players were named to the MPSF All-Academic team in 2014.

Price started out her coaching career as a graduate assistant coach at Mount St. Mary's University during the 2013 season – after playing on the team from 2008-12. During her collegiate career, Price entered the record books with 47 goals, 10 assists, 57 points, 121 shots, 43 ground balls, and 34 draw controls. She was named team captain and earned NEC All-Tournament honors during her senior year.

Price graduated from Mount St. Mary's in 2011 with a degree in business, and then earned her Master's degree in business administration in 2013.
