Nolan Sachs
Assistant Coach
Nolan Sachs was named an assistant coach on the Franklin & Marshall men’s lacrosse staff prior to the 2024 season.
Sachs brings plenty of experience coaching in the Centennial Conference to his second season in Lancaster as he graduated from Ursinus in 2020. Since that time, he has honed his coaching acumen as a member of the staffs at both Dickinson and Ursinus.
Sachs came to Franklin & Marshall after spending the 2023 season at his alma mater where he coached one All-American and three All-Centennial Conference performers. Prior to his time on staff in Collegeville, Sachs spent the 2022 season as an assistant coach at Dickinson where he helped the Red Devils to a school record 19-1 season. During that same season, the Red Devils won the Centennial Conference Championship and advanced to the third round of the NCAA Tournament behind five All-Americans and the Centennial Conference Defensive Player of the Year.
During his playing career, Sachs was a four-year starter and team captain for the Bears. He brings championship pedigree as a player where he led Ursinus to the school’s first-ever Centennial Conference Championship in 2019. During that same season, Sachs earned All-Centennial honors at close defense. He earned a bachelor's degree in health and exercise physiology from Ursinus.
Sachs is a name very familiar to the Franklin & Marshall lacrosse community as his grandfather, Ross, coached the Diplomats for 21 seasons. Ross Sachs won seven MAC Championships and advanced to two USILA National Tournament appearances while winning 160 games as head coach from 1967-87.
