USSC is excited to offer a Nike Boys Lacrosse Future Stars Youth Camp and an Overnight Camp at Franklin & Marshall College, led by Head Lacrosse Coach Todd Cavallaro, one of the most respected names in the game. As the head coach of F&M and director of All-Star Lacrosse Camps, Coach Cavallaro brings decades of experience developing top-tier players.

Located in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, about 1.5 hours west of Philadelphia and 2 hours north of Baltimore, this premier overnight lacrosse camp provides players with high-level instruction, competitive play, and an immersive lacrosse experience on F&M’s beautiful campus. Players will have the opportunity to refine their skills, learn from elite coaches, and take their game to the next level each day in F&M’s Shadek Stadium, home of the Diplomats Lacrosse teams.

    Camp Director

    Todd Cavallaro enters his 18th season as the head coach of the Franklin & Marshall men's lacrosse team in 2024.

    Since taking over in 2008, Cavallaro has compiled a 157-95 record and won two Centennial Conference Championships. His players have collected 28 All-America honors and four Centennial Conference Offensive Player of the Year honors.

  • Rich Lefever

    Assistant Coach

    Rich Lefever began his first season in Franklin & Marshall men's lacrosse program as an assistant coach in 2017 and has since helped F&M to the first two Centennial Conference Championships in program history.

    He joined the Diplomats' staff after spending the previous seven years at Elizabethtown College as the offensive coordinator.

    Lefever was inducted into the 2017 US Lacrosse Hall of Fame as one of six inaugural members representing Central Pennsylvania. He started the iM3 Lacrosse Academy to assist the Central PA region and its players with its rapid growth of lacrosse. Lefever also serves as the Director of Lacrosse at the Spooky Nook Sports Complex since 2014.

    During his tenure at Elizabethtown Lefever coached twelve All-Conference and four NCAA All-American offensive players, was recognized as the 2015 Conference Staff of the Year and was a 2017 NCAA Tournament qualifier for the first time in program history.

    Lefever spent over a decade as the head coach at Manheim Township High School, leading the Blue Streaks to Lancaster-Lebanon League Championships in 2004, 2006, 2007 and 2008. Township also won four straight PIAA District III lacrosse titles from 2006-09.

    In eleven years at the high school level, Lefever produced 17 High School All-Americans, 85 All-League players, 38 All-District players, 12 District Players of the Year, as well as, the National Record Holders for Most Points in a Career (589) and Most Goals in a Season (118). For all his achievements, Coach Lefever was named Coach of the Year five times.

  • Nolan Sachs

    Assistant Coach

    Nolan Sachs was named an assistant coach on the Franklin & Marshall men’s lacrosse staff prior to the 2024 season.

    Sachs brings plenty of experience coaching in the Centennial Conference to his second season in Lancaster as he graduated from Ursinus in 2020. Since that time, he has honed his coaching acumen as a member of the staffs at both Dickinson and Ursinus.

    Sachs came to Franklin & Marshall after spending the 2023 season at his alma mater where he coached one All-American and three All-Centennial Conference performers. Prior to his time on staff in Collegeville, Sachs spent the 2022 season as an assistant coach at Dickinson where he helped the Red Devils to a school record 19-1 season. During that same season, the Red Devils won the Centennial Conference Championship and advanced to the third round of the NCAA Tournament behind five All-Americans and the Centennial Conference Defensive Player of the Year.

    During his playing career, Sachs was a four-year starter and team captain for the Bears. He brings championship pedigree as a player where he led Ursinus to the school’s first-ever Centennial Conference Championship in 2019. During that same season, Sachs earned All-Centennial honors at close defense. He earned a bachelor's degree in health and exercise physiology from Ursinus.

    Sachs is a name very familiar to the Franklin & Marshall lacrosse community as his grandfather, Ross, coached the Diplomats for 21 seasons. Ross Sachs won seven MAC Championships and advanced to two USILA National Tournament appearances while winning 160 games as head coach from 1967-87.

You can expect high demand for these first-come-first-served camper spots, so please be sure to register early. This summer, we are offering a one week overnight camp with an extended day camp option (9:00am-8:30pm) for ages 8-18.

2026 OVERVIEW - FUTURE STARS YOUTH CAMP

  • Dates: June 15-18
  • Age Group: 6-14
  • Gender: Boys
  • Camp Type: Day (commuter)
  • Hours: 9:00am-2:30pm
  • Check-In: 8:30am-9:00 am at Shadek Stadium
  • Meals: Meals are not provided. Please bring a packed lunch.
  • Program: The Skills program is designed to provide campers the fundamental skills, position specific training and in-game tactical knowledge needed to enhance your game.

2026 OVERVIEW - OVERNIGHT CAMP

  • Dates: July 20-23
  • Age Group: 8-18
  • Gender: Boys
  • Camp Type: Overnight, Extended Day (commuter)
  • Check-In: Check-in takes between 2:30-4:00pm on Monday at Schnader Hall. There will be a camp orientation meeting at 4:30pm and parents are welcome to join their campers for this meeting. A detailed schedule for the week will be provided at that time.
  • Check-out: A closing ceremony will take place at the field at 11:00am on Thursday. Parents are invited to attend! Day campers depart from the field and overnight campers check-out from the dorm immediately after.
  • Extended Day Schedule: MON 2:30PM-7PM, TUE-WED 8:30AM-8:30PM, THURS 8:30AM-10:30AM **Times subject to change
  • Meals: All meals are provided for Overnight campers. Lunch and dinner are provided for Extended Day campers.
  • Program: The Advanced Skills/Complete Skills Camp is designed for players ages 8-18 to focus on stick skills, position play, team concepts, and an overall intense level of competition.

  • Team Discount: If five or more campers register together, each camper is eligible for a $25 discount. After all team members have successfully registered, contact us to receive a $25 refund per camper.

2026 HOUSING

  • Dorm: Schnader Residence Hall
  • Number of Campers Per Room: 1 or 2 per room (due to dorm constraints sometimes there are only singles available)
  • Roommates: Rooms are assigned by age & roommate requests. Roommate requests must be mutual and received no later than 14 days before the start of camp. If you don't have a roommate request, you will be placed in a room with someone near your age. It will be a great opportunity to meet someone new!
  • Bathrooms: Shared
  • Linens: Not included. Bring linens or a sleeping bag, a pillow, a pillowcase, and a towel
  • Air Conditioning: Yes

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE FEE?

  • Instruction: Morning, afternoon, and evening training sessions.
  • Supervision: Campers are supervised by staff during camp hours.
  • Reversible Jersey & Prizes: Campers will receive a Nike Lacrosse Reversible Jersey and prizes.

INSTRUCTION, EQUIPMENT & FACILITY

  • Ratio: 1:10 staff-to-camper ratio
  • Groupings: Campers are grouped by age, ability, and experience per the director's discretion.
  • Equipment Needed: Please bring your helmet, mouthpiece, cleats, lacrosse stick, gloves, and pads.
  • Facility: Franklin & Marshall College
  • Medical Protocol: Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.

EXTENDED DAY CAMPERS

Checklist of Items to Bring: We recommend that all Extended Day Campers bring a daily pack with the following items: Along with your lacrosse equipment, we recommend that you bring a day pack with the following items: water bottle, weather-appropriate clothing, cleats, and walking shoes.

Camp Schedule & Meals:

  • Monday: Extended Day Campers should arrive at 2:30pm-4:30 pm. Extended Day campers will attend dinner on Monday, followed by the evening training session.
  • Tuesday-Wednesday: Hours - 8:30am-8:30pm. Lunch and dinner are provided.
  • Thursday: Day Camper Hours - 8:30am-10:30am. Check-out is immediately after the camp concludes at 10:30am at Shadek Stadium.

TRANSPORTATION

Transportation is not provided. Campers are responsible for getting to and from camp on their own. There is no supervision before or after camp hours, so please make arrangements to pick up your child on time.
