Oliver Ortman
Camp Director
Oliver Ortman joined the TCNJ men's basketball staff as an assistant prior to the 2023-24 campaign.
Ortman spent the prior two seasons on staff at Drew University, including an 18-9 record and a run to the Landmark Conference championship game in 2022.
Ortman enjoyed an outstanding playing career as a guard at FDU-Florham, where he earned second-team All-MAC recognition as a senior. A three-year captain and three-year team MVP, he finished as the program's 14th all-time leading scorer with 1,181 points and holds school records for 3-pointers in a career (201) and season (76).
While at FDU, Ortman also served as a student ambassador for the Team IMPACT program, mentoring a child with a chronic physical condition. In addition, he has served as a coach and camp counselor at the New Jersey Basketball Academy since 2016.
Ortman earned a spot on the Dean's List five times and was a three-time Academic All-MAC honoree. He earned both a bachelor's and master's degree in sports administration from FDU.
Ortman worked with NJ Panthers AAU as a coach during the 2023 spring and summer season.
