Plagata continued to shine for the Chargers in 2022 starting all 24 matches and leading the Chargers in most statistical categories.
Orlando saw action in 80 sets, ending the year with 216 kills, 157 digs, 23 service aces, 14 assists and three blocks. Plagata ended the year ranked 12th in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) and first on the team in kills (216), 12th in the GNAC and first on the team in digs (156) and first on the team in service aces (23). Plagata had his first big match of the season on January 30th versus Nichols College, ending the day with 14 kills, nine digs, a block and a service ace. Plagata had a season-high 15 kills on February 26th versus Wentworth to go with five digs. Plagata would later match that season-high on April 2nd against Lasell University with 15 kills, 10 digs and two assists. Plagata also won the Chargie for the Champion of Character Award.
