Assistant Coach

Pat Mosley

Pat Mosley joined the West Chester staff in 2004-05 as the team’s throws coach. She owns USA Track & Field Level 1 and 2 Certifications as well as a USTFCCCA Throws Coach Event Specialist. Her coaching career spans twenty years.

Before coming to West Chester University, Mosley was the head girls track & field/cross country coach at Garnet Valley High School in Glen Mills, PA. During her high school coaching career, multiple athletes medaled at the PIAA District I Track and Field championships and competed at the PIAA state meet.

In her first year at West Chester, Mosley coached standout thrower Nicole James to All-American honors at both the NCAA Division II Indoor and Outdoor National Championships in the shot put and discus. She also coached a third place finish by athlete Shane Neal in the javelin at the 2007 Outdoor National Championships. Over the years, while coaching at West Chester, she has coached two Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference women’s shot put champions and a discus champion along with multiple Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference qualifiers in shot put, discus, hammer, weight throw and javelin.

A native of Lincoln University, PA and a graduate of Oxford Area High School, Mosley received her undergraduate degree in Education from West Chester University and a Masters in Counseling from Immaculata University.
