Assistant Coach
Nate Kennedy
Coach Kennedy serves as the sprints & middle distance coach at WCU. A 2008 graduate of West Chester University, Kennedy returned to his Alma mater in 2013 as an assistant track & field coach.
In his first year as a WCU coach, Kennedy mentored an NCAA All-American in the long jump before moving to his area of expertise in the sprints at the beginning of his second year.
With coaching stops at Alvernia University, Owen J. Roberts High School, Fleetwood High School, and the Glen Mills School, Coach Kennedy has a wide variety of experience in many event groups.
A native of Mohnton, Pa, and a graduate of Governor Mifflin High School, Kennedy received his undergraduate degree in Health & Physical Education from West Chester University. He is also a certified USTFCCCA sprints/hurdles/relays coach, as well as a certified strength & conditioning specialist.
