Ryan McCauley

Ryan McCauley joined the WCU staff in the fall of 2013 to coach the Golden Rams’ pole vaulters and to assist with the multi-event athletes. Each pole vaulter and multi-event athlete achieved a personal best in 2013-2014.

McCauley spent his freshman year at West Chester under the guidance of Head Coach Jason Kilgore before transferring to Millersville University and competing for two additional years. During his final year at Millersville he served as a volunteer pole vault coach and had one PSAC qualifier and assisted with one NCAA Provisional qualifier. At the same time, McCauley coached the long jump, triple jump, and high jump at Penn Manor High School in Millersville, Pa, and was responsible for five Lancaster-Lebanon League qualifiers and two PIAA District III qualifiers. McCauley also spent the 2012-2013 season coaching pole vault at Temple University.

A native of Wallingford, Pa, McCauley graduated from Strath Haven High School, and holds an undergraduate degree in Economics from Millersville University, as well as Level I Certification from USA Track & Field.
