Coach Bush has served as Head Coach for Lovett Varsity Softball since August 2020. Coach Bush led the lady lions to back-to-back regional championships in the 6-AA region, 2nd runner up of GHSA State tournament, and 5th place in this 2021 season state tournament in the 6AA classification.
Coach Bush was selected as coach of the year for the 6AA region for the 2020 and 2021 seasons. Coach Bush has also coached multiple years at the collegiate softball level as assistant coach to California Lutheran University and Emory University. Coach Bush was also a former player for four years at the University of Arizona and had a part in the 2009 and 2010 WCWS appearances and 2010 2nd runners-up against UCLA in the championship. Coach Bush now runs softball programs in the state of GA assisting local parks and recreations working to spread the knowledge and love of the sport to all age groups. She coaches lessons at Champions Fastpitch Academy in Marietta, GA since 2017, and runs collegiate showcases as a park site director every winter and summer.
Coach Bush has three daughters ages 4, 6, & 8 and gets great joy seeing them grow up in the sport she loves dearly.
