Tom Konkowski
Pickleball Director
Tom Konkowski is an IPTPA and PCI certified coach and serves as pickleball director for Next Athletes and the Nike Pickleball Camps.
Tom, an accomplished racquetball player, over the years has coached various athletes in different sports. Since 2021, he has been a certified instructor with the International Pickleball Teachers Professional Association (IPTPA) and a Member of Pickleball Coaching International (PCI) and Play Pickleball Network. Tom holds the title of Certified Junior Instructor with the IPTPA and is a member of Youth USA Pickleball. Excited to apply his Considerate and Systematic coaching style to pickleball, Tom aims to leverage his experience and expertise in racquet sports to enhance player performance. In pursuit of further professional development, he has completed all coursework to become a Certified Personal Trainer with the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), a credential he plans to achieve by the end of 2024. Tom is an Arizona Native and has been married to Jacque for 42 years, has two sons (Tony & AJ) and two granddaughters.
