Rachel nagel

Rachel Nagel is a former Division I basketball player for the University of California, Davis. She garnered back-to-back Big West Regular Season Conference Championships, a trip to the WNIT Sweet Sixteen in 2017, and the WNIT Elite Eight the following year.

She became the 20th player in UC Davis history to score over 1,000 career points, made the All-Big West Conference team in 2017, and was on the Big West All-Academic team three years in a row. During her senior year, she started all 35 games for UC Davis and played the most minutes of any Aggie at 1,022 minutes. She ranked fourth in the Big West in three-point percentage, sixth in three-pointers per game (1.9), second in three-pointers overall (65), and 6th on the UC Davis all-time single season list in three-point percentage (.419).

Following her graduation from UC Davis with a Bachelors of Science in Psychology, Rachel returned to her alma mater of Whitney High School, as the girl's varsity head basketball coach. She is now a teacher and girls basketball coach at Rolling Hills Prep, a Division 1 high school program.
