Ralph Jones is the Program Head of Track and Field at Charlotte Christian School and the Jones Elite Training Sports Performance (JET) owner. Jones is a USATF Level 3 Certified Speed Specialist, earning his IAAF elite coaching certification. He is USATF Level 2 Certified in sprints, hurdles, relays, jumps, and middle and long distances and also holds a Level I CrossFit Certification.

Jones served as the USATF Pacific Association Chair from 2011 to 2014 and is also a USATF-Certified Coaching Educator, serving as a teacher in five (5) Level I Classes and hosting a Level 2 school at Cal State East Bay. The two-time National NJCAA Coach of the Year has over 20 years of College coaching experience coaching at Cal State East Bay, Morgan State University, Central Arizona, and Wilmington College (OH).

As the head of one of the premier High-Performance training programs in the country, JET has produced some of the top runners and jumpers in North and South Carolina. Since 2018, JET athletes have won 21 individual high school state titles. The 2023 season was among the most successful in program history by JET athletes and alums. 4 JET alums qualified for the USATF Championships, with one athlete making the U-20 team and bringing home Gold in the 110h! JET Special Olympic athlete Phillip Blount was the world champion in the shot put, and youth athlete Marcus Love was the national champion in the Long Jump and the state’s top-ranked middle school jumper. Jones also coached the top-ranked middle school 100m sprinter and 400m runner. At the high school level, JET athletes won 6 state titles in North Carolina and brought home 12 All-American honors from the youth National championships. In 2021, Jones youth athletes amassed a total of 21 All-American honors. Since 2019, JET has had at least two athletes ranked #1 in the state, including 2022, where JET athletes were ranked #1 in the Independent League 100, 110h, 300h, and 4x100 relay for high school, and #1 in the HJ, TJ, 300mh, 4x100, 4x200, 4x400, 3200, 800, 1600, 400, 100, and 200 in the independent league middle schools.

In 2020, Coach Jones coached the Indoor National Athlete and Gatorade Athlete of the Year, Cameron Rose. While at Morgan State University, Jones helped to coach 15 East Coast Regional qualifiers and five school record holders in track and field in his four years with the Bears. He also coached the program’s first and only 1500m, 5000m, and Cross-Country Champion and Athlete of the Year. As a Junior College Coach, Jones coached two individual Cross-Country champions and three team Cross-Country champions and led his sprinters and relays to five National Titles. In addition, he Coached over 63 athletes to All-American status. Jones is Level 2 Certified in Endurance and Sprints/Hurdles and Relays.

As a Private Coach, Jones Elite Training and Daniels High-Performance Athletes have been highly successful, Nationally Ranked, and won or part of 62 Individual, Relay, Conference, Regional, State, AAU, Adidas 100m Hurdle National Champion, and USATF Regional Age Group/High School Titles; 2 AAU National Age Group Champions, 36 Age Group All-Americans and one Gatorade athlete of the year (Cameron Rose). Additionally, their clients have acquired over three million dollars in athletic scholarships. As a result, many Jones Elite Training and Daniels High-Performance clients attend Power 5, Division I & II, and many HBCU Universities and Colleges on Full-Athletic or Partial Scholarships with minimum debt upon graduation.
