Ray Appenheimer
Camp Director

Ray Appenheimer enters his 18th season as the Director of Track and Field and Cross Country at Oberlin College in 2021-22. During his tenure, Appenheimer has built Oberlin’s track and field and cross country programs into perennial powers in the nation, region and the North Coast Athletic Conference.
Appenheimer also coached with the Nike Farm Team in Palo Alto, CA from 2002 to 2004, working with numerous Olympic trial qualifiers from 800 to 10,000 meters. Coach Appenheimer was a five-time All-American, two-time national champion, 1999 World Cross Country Team member and 2000 Olympic trials qualifier at 5000 meters with a career best of 13:28.99.
