Rebekka Hepford
Co-Director

Assistant Volleyball Coach Rebekka Hepford is slated to begin her first season with MCC in the fall of 2022. She came to the Wolves Volleyball staff with the experience of coaching club volleyball in both the Midwest region (Wichita) and west coast region (Ladera Ranch, CA) of USA volleyball. Rebekka’s first high school coaching experience was with Maize South High School in Wichita, KS where she coached the freshman (girls) team. She later served as the freshman boys head coach at San Juan Hills High School in Juan Capistrano, CA. Rebekka has a bachelor’s degree in exercise science from Wichita State University.
Coach Hepford played competitively through high school, advancing to state competition in her junior year. She was a 3-year starter, and served as Co-Captain her senior year. While attending Wichita State, Rebekka worked as one of the school’s team managers for a squad that advanced to the round of 16 in NCAA tournament play. During that time, Rebekka gained valuable experience with a college level program, including exposure to practice planning and skill development, as well processes involved in developing a successful program. She worked to advance her knowledge of the game from some of the leaders in the sport, including Chris Lamb (Wichita St), John Dunning (formerly at Stanford), and Ron Larson (USA Men’s Volleyball).
Rebekka has had an immediate impact on the MCC volleyball program since joining Coach Kaleikau on staff. She is looking forward to working with a number of our returning student-athletes from the '23-'24 Region XVI Championship team. Along with Head Coach Rob Kaliekau, Coach Hepford is optimistic about future Wolves seasons, looking to sustain and build continued success for Wolves volleyball.
