Rick Fesik

Coach Rick Fesik comes with a well established background in basketball. He created individual one – on – one training which many coaches use at all levels of basketball and has worked with many players who have developed skills to go on and have great careers in such fine basketball venues as Providence, Georgia Tech, UMASS, CCSU, St. Joseph’s, Boston College and other programs in Division II and III.

He played High School basketball at Mt. St. Charles Academy in R.I. and led the team in scoring at 16.6 per game in his senior year. Mount lost by 2 points in the State Championship game. He was All-Division and Co-Captain.

Then, Coavh Fesik played basketball at Dean College and was the 10th Leading scorer in New England at 20.4 points a game in his senior season, starting both freshman and senior seasons. He was a walk-on at U.R.I. He has played against and worked out with a list of ex NBA players, as well as numerous Division I, II, and III players (some International) over the years.
He coached JV basketball for 2 years at King Philip Regional under Tom Schmidt.

He has coached both boys and girls at the AAU Division 1 level for 8 years taking three of the teams to Division 1 National Playoffs/ Championships.

He is a Consultant to High School and some College Basketball Teams (Boys/Girls) throughout Eastern Massachusetts/ Rhode Island.

Rick has worked many years at Sarah Behn, Rick Patch, and Mike/Jon Babul summer basketball camps. He also works basketball clinics and individual training throughout the year in the local community.

He is currently a Certified Special Education teacher at Joseph Case High School in Swansea, MA. He was formerly a Special Education Teacher and an Assistant Principal at Tri-County RVTHS in Franklin, MA (2004-2010). He graduated from Bridgewater State University in 1979 with a Bachelor of Science Degree and in 2009 with a Master’s Degree in Special Education with a 4.0 GPA.

He is married to Janet and has two children and 5 grandchildren. His daughter played basketball for the Northeast Conference (Division I) Central Connecticut State University on a full scholarship and was Co-Captain her senior year.
