Rob Cornetta

Co-Directing camp this summer is Rob Cornetta. Coach Cornetta was promoted to Associate Head Coach for the men's lacrosse team in 2017, his 10th year as a coach with the program.

Cornetta first started as an assistant coach in 2008 after a four-year career as a student-athlete. Cornetta is also in his seventh year as the Assistant Facilities Manager for Pace. He was hired to the position in February 2011 after working in facilities for the athletic department for the previous four years. He is responsible for the care, maintenance and upkeep of all university athletic fields and surrounding grounds.

Cornetta has helped lift the men’s lacrosse program to national prominence, especially over the past three seasons while working alongside Head Coach Tom Mariano. The Setters have earned spots in the national rankings for numerous weeks over the past few seasons, and the team has qualified for the Northeast-10 Conference Championship Tournament each of the last two years. Cornetta also helped lead the Setters to the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division II Men’s Lacrosse Championship back in 2015.

Cornetta also attended Pace University for his undergraduate studies from 2003-2007 and was a member of the lacrosse team all four years. In his senior year, Cornetta started in all 14 games for the Setters. He earned All-Conference, All-Academic First Team in the NE-10 Conference in 2007. He also received the NCAA Sportsmanship award in his senior year.

Cornetta graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in History from the Dyson College of Arts and Sciences in 2007. He earned his Master’s in Adolescent Education from Pace University in 2009. Cornetta is originally from Huntington Station, NY. He now resides in Pleasantville, NY with his wife Tori.
