Rowan Poppen-Eagan
Assistant Coach
Rowan Poppen-Eagan joined the Nazareth staff as the first-ever full-time swimming assistant coach for the Golden Flyers in August of 2023.
Poppen-Eagan, a 2021 graduate of Hartwick College, majored in biology with a minor in Political Science. While there, Poppen-Eagan was a captain as a senior and was an Empire 8 Championships “A” finalist for three seasons.
Beginning in the fall of 2022, Poppen-Eagan was a swim coach at Gordon Family YMCA in Sumner, Washington. In Sumner, he coached swimmers ages 8-15 techniques and conditioning at a fun and competitive level.
Poppen-Eagen earned a Master of Science in Coaching & Exercise Science from Concordia University Irvine in May of 2023.
In 2023, Poppen-Eagen was a US Swimming Masters Qualifier.
