Ryan Napralla

Ryan Napralla is a familiar face on the Lawrence football coaching staff after a distinguished playing career in the Midwest Conference.
A native of Montello, Wis., Napralla has coached Lawrence's defensive line since 2020.
A 2005 graduate of former Midwest Conference rival St. Norbert College, Napralla was an all-conference defensive lineman for the Green Knights. He also played on Midwest Conference championship teams in 2001, 2003 and 2004.

Napralla earned a bachelor's degree in history and secondary education at St. Norbert and served as a middle school teacher for 15 years.
Napralla began coaching at Montello High School in 2005 and worked in his hometown through 2008. He was an assistant coach at St. Norbert from 2009 through 2014 before joining the staff at Green Bay Southwest High School for the 2015 and 2016 season. He coached at Pulaski High School from 2016 before joining the Lawrence staff in 2020.
A three-sport star at Montello High School, Napralla starred in football, wrestling and baseball before graduating in 2001. He was a two-time All-Trailways Conference selection as a defensive lineman. He also earned first-team all-conference honors as an offensive lineman.
Napralla and his wife, Niki, live in De Pere, Wis.
