Assistant Coach
Samantha Targonski is an emerging women’s lacrosse coach with experience at both the Division I and Division III collegiate levels.
Currently serving as an Assistant Coach at the University of Montevallo, she is involved in all aspects of student-athlete development, recruiting, game preparation, and program operations. Samantha previously coached at Rider University and Misericordia University, where she gained valuable experience in practice planning, scouting, recruiting evaluations, and team leadership. She also serves as a Head Coach with DewLax Elite Club, helping develop athletes of all ages and guiding players through the recruiting process. A former collegiate lacrosse player at the University of Bridgeport, Samantha is passionate about fostering player growth, academic success, and a positive team culture. In addition to her coaching experience, she is a USA Lacrosse Level 2 Official, bringing a strong understanding of the game and a commitment to its continued development.
