Scott Carswell

Eastern Florida State College Women's Head Soccer Coach

Scott Carswell - Eastern Florida State College Women's Head Soccer Coach

Scott Carswell is beginning his fifth season as the head coach of the women's soccer team, winning the program's first NJCAA Division I National Championship in 2021.

In 2023 Carswell led the Titans back to the NJCAA Division I National Championship Game, falling short to Iowa Western 1-0 in overtime. The Titans won the conference title as well as the Southeast District title and went 14-4-1.

In 2022 the Titans went back to the national tournament, falling in the tournament semifinals to Iowa Western. The team finished 12-3 overall and 3-1 in the conference.

Carswell led the team to the program's first NJCAA Division I National Championship title in 2021-22 as the team finished the season 10-2-3 overall, but after losing in pool play of the tournament, the team went on to win the title.

In 2020-21, the team went 11-1-1 and won the Region 8 title as well as the district title to advance to the national championship tournament. After winning the Pool the team lost in the semifinals of the national tournament in his first season as head coach.

Carswell joined the Titans as an assistant coach in February after 17 seasons at Merritt Island High School, leading the girls soccer program to three state championships including back-to-back in 2017 and 2018 and went to eight state championship games in 17 seasons.

He spent the 2019 season as the co-head coach with Jeff Carr, helping the program to a 16-1 record and a trip to the NJCAA Division I National Championship Tournament semifinals.

Overall in four seasons, Carswell is 47-10-5.
