Sharon Murphy

Sharon Murphy is a Level 4 certified professional by Professional Tennis Registry (PTR) and a Master Professional in Junior Development. Sharon is also a Coach Developer for USTA (United States Tennis Association) and PTR.
She's been actively involved in running local tennis programs, in private and group settings as well as USTA Sanctioned Junior Tournaments for 20 years. In 2005 she was awarded PTR State Member of the year; and in 2011 received the PTR New England Pro of the Year. Over the past 10 years ,Sharon has maintained the position as the Varsity Girls Tennis Coach for Glastonbury High School in CT.
In 2017 she led the team to win the CT State Class LL team championship. Sharon played Division 1 tennis for the University of New Hampshire where she earned a degree in Math and minor in Sociology. Fast forward today, Sharon followed her dreams to become a certified Tennis Professional to help grow the game of tennis; educate prospective tennis pros; and remind people that tennis is a life long sport.
