Head Boys Basketball Coach
Shawn Mark started out training and coaching basketball in 2003 and fell in love with helping kids and his community ( East Flatbush, Brownsville, ENY, Canarsie, Mill Basin) in Brooklyn.
He played for a small AAU team called Student Athlete Broncos as kid and still go under the name in local tournaments to honor his coach Paul " Doc" Nicelli.
Shawn was the JV head coach and the varsity assistant at South shore from 2011-2017. In 2017, he became the Head Boys Basketball Coach and has led the team to each year with 20 plus win seasons and student going to college for free! In 6 years they have won 3 city titles , 4 borough titles and 1 state championship.
