We are excited to announce that Next Star will be hosting a Pro Clinic with DC United Legend Steve Birnbaum. Players will learn about the player pathway to College, Steve's Pro experience, and the technical side of preparing for the highest level.
Coach Steve Birnbaum has spent the most of his professional career on the pitch for D.C. United. He was captain of and played as a center-back for D.C. United for ten seasons. He started every game for D.C. United in the 2018 season playing every minute in all 34 regular season games, and led Major League Soccer in total clearances, headed clearances, and aerials won, and in 2019 he again led the league in headed clearances and aerials won.
