Tuders enters his fourth campaign as an assistant coach with the Quakers. He grew up in Queens, New York, and was a four-year high school letter winner in baseball, basketball, football and track. He coached baseball before starting his softball coaching career in 2004, beginning with YMCA and recreational softball. Tuders has been coaching travel softball for the past five years and directs an 18-and-under team with the Greensboro Batting Center. He has served as softball coach at Mendenhall Middle School since 2010 and worked at the Six Point Sports Academy in 2013. Steve and his wife of 16 years, Lisa, have two daughters who played travel softball.
