I have been teaching for 4 years and playing competitively for 5. I fell in love with the sport because of the community of likeminded and friendly people I met when I first started. My wife and I compete together, and especially love to travel for tournaments.
I come from the culinary world where I graduated from Columbus State University as a certified sous chef and worked in country clubs and restaurants until I became a stay at home dad 13 years ago. I have two boys who also recently started playing pickleball, and I hope to also get them into competitive play.
