Tatsuro "Tats" Oshimoto serves as assistant coach for the Nike Junior Golf Camps at Angel Park.
Tats is not your traditional golf instructor. Since passing his PGA Playing Ability Test in 2005, he has been helping many golfers of all abilities to enjoy the game. His golf industry experience of over a decade is very unique including playing and teaching experience in the United States and Japan. Over the years, Tats has been influenced by Eastern and Western teaching techniques and have developed a unique methodology for helping golfers play to their true potential. By harmoniously using modern technology and traditional methods of teaching, Tats will provide each student with an in-depth understanding of the game and the exact steps needed for improvement.
Tats is a graduate of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and holds a level 2 certification in Golf Biomechanics from the Titleist Performance Institute (TPI).He has been a long time student of Tom Carlson before joining his teaching staff.
