Tierra Brown is the Varsity Girls’ Basketball Coach at The First Academy with 9 years of coaching experience. Brown joined the program in the 2014-2015 season as the Head Junior Varsity Coach and transitioned to the Head Varsity Coach the following season 2015-2016.
Upon Brown’s arrival, The First Academy has returned to its winning culture and have won 3 District championships and 1 District runners up. Brown has a combined record of 60-36. Brown, an alumnus of The First Academy was a part of their nationally ranked team that won back to back State Championships (2006, 2007)
Previous to joining The First Academy, Brown was the Head Assistant Coach at Eastern Florida State College for 2 years after a 4-year playing career at Stetson University where she was a four-year starter and finished 11th in scoring and helped lead her team to an ASUN conference title and an NCAA Tournament appearance her senior year.
