Tyson Browning
Tyson D. Browning began his football career as a sophomore at Oconee County High School (OCHS). Browning, who remains the record holder at OCHS for career yards, yards in a game, and longest run from scrimmage, went on to lead OCHS to their first state championship win in 1999 with 36 rushing touchdowns in a season.
This feat earned him a spot as 15th in Georgia state history for rushing touchdowns in a season, a title he holds til this day. Browning was repeatedly identified as cream of the crop, earning top honors as 2x All-State selection and a 200 AJC Super 11 selection, and was identified by ESPN as a Top 100 Player in 2001.
Tyson went on to play for the University of Georgia from 2002-2005 where he lettered all four years. Proving repeatedly to be a dangerous combination of natural talent and refined skill, Browning led the Dawgs in kickoff return yardage in 03, 04, and 05, and shined as a member of the 2002 and 2005 SEC title teams.
Tyson currently resides in Watkinsville, GA.
