Division 1 Soccer Player - Gardner Webb University
Valeria Ruffo, 21 years old, started playing soccer at the age of 13 and competed in Miami, FL for 5 years. She played her freshman year of collegiate soccer at a Division 2 school in South Carolina before transferring to her current university, Gardner Webb, where she's playing Division 1 soccer while finishing her bachelor's degree.
Currently pursuing her final year in exercise science for her bachelor's degree, Valeria plans to pursue a Doctorate degree in physical therapy. She also gained valuable experience working with FC Prime before her university soccer commitment and served as a strength and conditioning intern during the summer of 2023 at InterMiami, where she worked with academy players and MLS Next pro.
