Two-time All-American Valerie Nichol will be continuing her professional volleyball career as a member of LKS Lodz in Poland during the 2018-19 season.
Valerie Nichol's career begins in US school tournaments, with the University HS of Normal, Illinois. At the end of high school, she joined Purdue, participating in the NCAA Division I from 2011 to 2014, and received two-time All-Northeast Region and All-Big Ten selections at Purdue.
In the 2015-16 season she signed her first professional contract and wore the colors of MTV Stuttgart, with which she reached the championship and national cup finals. In the following season she won the German Super Cup and the Coppa di Germany.
In the 2017-18 championships she moved to Poland, where she defended the colors of the Wrocław in the Liga Siatkówki Kobiet, and also competed in the following championship, wearing the ŁKS jersey.
