Coach V – Venus Jewett is a NCAA D1 and USATF Elite Level 2 coach who is in her third year of coaching at Pepperdine University.
Coach V provides coaching for sprinters and hurdlers for NCAA D1 track and field athletes.
Venus graduated from Northwest Missouri State University where she ran track, and her records remain intact till this day. During her tenure at the NWMSU, she became a five time NCAA All-American. Jewett still holds several university records (400m, 200m & 100m) along with a host of indoor and relay records.
Many years after an illustrious career in track and field, she took the position of head girl’s track and field coach and led the team to be league champions. In the five years at CCHS she has coached four state placers including one state champion, one runner up, and a mass of nationally ranked athletes.
