Will Donohoe
Assistant Men's Soccer Coach at Hamden-Sydney College
Will Donohoe enters his first season as an assistant coach for the Tigers in 2019-20.
“Will has already proven to be a great addition to our coaching staff here at Hampden-Sydney,” said head soccer coach Tommy DiNuzzo. “He comes from a very strong soccer background in Northern Virginia and just finished an excellent playing career at Mary Washington. He's very familiar with the soccer scene in our state and our region, so this will continue to be a seamless transition for him.”
In the spring of 2019, Donohoe was the assistant soccer coach at Mountain View HS in Stafford. He helped the team finish the season 11-2-1 including a region championships and appearance in the state quarterfinals.
Donohoe graduated in the summer of 2019 with a degree in Environmental Science from the University of Mary Washington. He played four years for the Eagles, mostly as a middle back. As senior at UMW, he scored three goals including the game winner against Catholic.
Prior to Mary Washington, Donohoe played at John Champe High School in Aldie. He helped begin the Knights program in 2013 and was a team captain from for his final three seasons.
